The Chief Officers are all currently active members of the part-time faction of the Lake Johanna Fire Department. Their service time, combined with that of Debi Krause who has been the department’s Office Manager since January of 2000, nets a combined years-of-service to the Lake Johanna Fire Department in excess of 100 years.
Tim was hired by the department in 1985. During his part-time tenure with Lake Johanna, Tim served in many roles including District Chief and Deputy Chief. In August of 2002, Tim was hired as the department’s first full-time Fire Chief.
Matt was hired by the department in 2000. He served in roles from Engineer to District Chief during his part-time tenure with the department. Matt was hired as the first full-time Deputy Chief/Emergency Manager in July of 2017.
Kris was hired by the department in 2010 and rose to the rank of Lieutenant. Kris was hired as the full-time Deputy Chief/Fire Marshal in February of 2018.
